Sonoma Pharmaceuticals Announces Expanded Distribution Agreement with Brill International S.L. for Europe and approval of new CE Marking for Microdacyn60® Eye Care

PETALUMA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Sonoma Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: SNOA), a global healthcare leader developing and producing stabilized hypochlorous acid (HOCl) products for a wide range of applications, including wound care, eye care and dermatological conditions, is pleased to announce that it received a new CE Marking (Conformité Européenne) for its Microdacyn60® Eye Care based on Sonoma’s patented Microcyn® Technology.

The formulation, marketed in the United States as Acuicyn™ Antimicrobial Eyelid and Eyelash Hygiene solution, is a safe and efficacious method to keep areas around the eye and eyelids/eyelashes clean and remove foreign materials. Sonoma’s performance-stabilized hypochlorous acid (HOCl), which is at the heart of Acuicyn and Microdacyn60® Eye Care, can be used safely around eyes, ears, nose and mouth without concerns about toxicity or stinging.

Sonoma is also pleased to announce that it has agreed on a new 10-year license, distribution and supply agreement with its distribution partner Brill International S.L. to market the eye care product under the private label Ocudox™ in the European markets of Italy, Germany, Spain, Portugal and the United Kingdom, subject to Brill meeting certain annual minimum purchase requirements. Previously, Sonoma’s highly successful partnership with Brill covered only the Spanish and Portugese markets.
